When Buddy made this, he named it "Ed's Favorite Word" because of the Boondocks sample in the beginning and the fact that fuck is a word I use on a daily basis. And it just so happens to really be my favorite word...lol. I called it Your Favorite Asshole because I feel like that's what I am to alot of my friends. The people that like me understand that I will be honest with my opinion, even if sometimes blunt, and that sarcasm is to be expected at all times. And then there's people that just can't handle that sheeit so they don't like me. Either way, I don't give a fuck. I'ma still be the person I feel like being. And that's exactly what The Virtuosouls are all about so that's why I got Buddy and Caesa on this sheeit as well.
The first part of the chorus was actually inspired by Slum Village's "Raise It Up" n their "Fantastic Vol. 2" album. More specifically by Baatin's verse when he goes, "Maybe you like me, maybe you don't, I don't give a fuck." That is very much my attitude. Some find that very asshole like and negative but it is what it is.
