This was originally going to be used by Buddy on his first solo album of him rapping. I remember him sending me this sheeit and just bugging out on how fuckin beautiful it sounded. About a year later, I just started going through beats that I had from him just sitting and found this again. I asked him if he still planned on using it and he said no so I decided to fuck with it. The hook comes from a bar in my verse on "Uh-Huh" from The Virtuosouls "The Righteous Quest For Jamaican Koolaid." When I was in a session with J-Stielz, I thought it would be dope for him to hop on this sheeit with me because we needed a song together for my album (I worked a lot with him on his upcoming release).
Easily one of my favorites from the album. Just the whole set up. The fact that it follows Paradise (which the sonic sequence from Make Her Happy to this song is just fuckin amazing to me). The playfulness of it and the hook and chorus just being really catchy. I have to shoutout TiRon and Ayomari for their album "A Sucker For Pumps" because that album really inspired this song.
